Are You Ready to Transform Your Relationship with Food & Body Image?

I’m ready for personalised support.
I want to work 1:1 with you to untangle my relationship with food and body image, at a pace that feels right for me.

I’m not ready to go it alone, but being part of a supportive group sounds like the right first step. I’m joining the waitlist for The Nourished Self Project.

I’m looking for a speaker or workshop that creates real, compassionate conversations about eating disorders, food, body image, and mental wellbeing, for my school, workplace, or community.

Start your healing journey

01. Overcome the binge/restrict cycle & heal your relationship with food

Our relationship with food can be a bit complicated, and can feel as a bit out of control, like you will never be able to eat a meal without overeating. It swings between limiting what we eat and being very strict to feeling uncontrollable and finding ourselves bingeing surrounded by guilt. It is possible to heal your relationship with food and eating (even after years of dieting)

02. Ditch the diet culture and find body neutrality

Diet culture and the cultural ideal of thinness is ever so prominent in our society and life, creating distrust with our food, eating and body and fostering the belief that our body is unacceptable. This belief system can be uprooted and turned into something that feels more neutral and hopeful. It isn’t about loving our body (or even liking it), but making peace with it through acceptance and respect, while learning to reject the dieting and restriction behaviours.

03. Address your thoughts, emotions and nervous system

The way our mind works is that - thoughts become feelings (and vice versa), creating behaviours, and our life is a series of behaviours. Using evidence based psychotherapy and counselling we will shape our thinking patterns so they support the life we want to live instead of sabotaging it. I’ll teach you to access your thoughts, foster acceptance and create a new narrative that supports your well-being. I also show you how to use somatic practices to regulate your nervous system, which has a lot to do with our emotional responses.

04. Heal and Rebuild

When we shift our focus away from food and body image, we make room for life and ourselves. Curiosity, Courage and Purpose is a part of the healing journey. Discover your authentic self and start enjoying the moments of life free from distraction.

The first step isn’t doing more. It’s talking to someone who gets it.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each session is 60 minutes long, giving us enough time to dive deeply into the topic, engage in meaningful discussion, and work together effectively.

  • No, I do not offer bulk billing. To maintain a high standard of care and cover the costs of running a quality private practice, bulk-billing is not available. However, I aim to keep my fees as affordable as possible.

I do accept Medicare referrals, including Chronic Disease Management Plans and Eating Disorder Management Plans. This means you can receive a Medicare rebate for part of the cost, and you will be responsible for the remaining out-of-pocket amount.

If you’d like, I can help you understand how this works and support you through the process to maximize your rebate.

  • The number of sessions varies for each person because your journey is unique. Many clients find that starting with 8 to 12 sessions provides enough time to build lasting, sustainable changes around food, body, and emotional wellbeing. During this time, we work together to understand your patterns, develop practical strategies, and nurture a kinder relationship with yourself.

Of course, some people may need more or fewer sessions depending on their goals and progress and we’ll always tailor the plan to suit your needs and pace.

  • Your first appointment is a safe, welcoming space where we focus on you, your story, your relationship with food, your emotions, and your body. There’s no judgment here, only understanding and curiosity about what’s driving your eating habits and how they affect your wellbeing.

We’ll explore your challenges with kindness, including any struggles with binge or emotional eating, and what you want to change. Together, we’ll start building a personalized plan that fits your life and values. No restrictive diets or quick fixes, just gentle, sustainable steps toward feeling more peaceful and confident.

You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions and share any worries. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your journey ahead, knowing you don’t have to do this alone.

  • No, you will not have to follow a strict diet. My approach is non-diet and compassionate. We focus on helping you heal your relationship with food rather than restricting or controlling what you eat. Together, we will work on understanding your body’s needs, tuning into your hunger and fullness cues, and finding balance that fits your lifestyle.

This is not about perfection or rules. It is about learning to trust yourself and enjoy food without guilt or anxiety.
