Because food, feelings, and your body are deeply connected and healing is possible.

Eating Disorder & Body Image

If you are struggling with food, your body, or the way you see yourself, you are not alone.

Whether you feel stuck in cycles of restriction, binge eating, or feel disconnected from your body, you deserve support that looks at the whole picture. Not just your symptoms, but your story.

I work with women who feel overwhelmed by food and body image. Women who want to feel calm in their bodies again and are tired of trying to figure it all out on their own.

Body image is made up of your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings about your body. It is influenced by internal factors like personality, life experiences, or puberty, and external ones such as culture, social media, trauma, or the messages you received growing up.

It is normal for body image to shift, but when negative thoughts become constant, they can lead to body dissatisfaction. This can leave you feeling uncomfortable, ashamed, or disconnected from your body. It may also lead to unhealthy eating patterns or constant attempts to change your appearance.

I support women to move from body criticism toward body respect. Because when you stop waiting to feel “better” in your body, you can begin to enjoy your life more fully.

Disordered Eating: When Food Becomes a Source of Stress

Disordered eating lives on a spectrum. You may not have a diagnosed eating disorder, but your relationship with food might still be stressful or painful.

This can look like:

  • Constant dieting

  • Skipping meals or ignoring hunger

  • Following rigid food rules

  • Eating in secret

  • Obsessing about your weight or body shape

  • Feeling out of control around food

These patterns are often linked to stress, trauma, low self-worth, or pressure to meet unrealistic expectations. They can affect your health, energy, relationships, and sense of self.

Eating Disorders I Support

I offer nutrition and counselling support for:

  • Binge Eating Disorder

  • Other Eating Disorders, including orthorexia or mixed symptoms

My approach brings together both dietary and emotional support to help reduce symptoms and support lasting recovery. I can also work alongside your care team, including GPs and psychologists, to make sure you are getting the holistic care you need.
